Whether your bird is moulting, overweight, underweight, particularly active, housed in a cold climate, recovering from an illness, or affected by liver or kidney disease, this formula provides the necessary support to help them thrive.

The high potency formula is also ideal for weaning birds, breeding birds, and birds with special dietary needs. Weaning birds should be fed this formula for at least 6-9 months to ensure proper development. Breeding birds should be transitioned to this diet 1-2 months before the breeding period and maintained on it until the chicks are weaned. This ensures that both the breeding birds and their chicks receive optimal nutrition. Additionally, the formula can be supplemented with certified organic vegetables and fruits to provide a varied and enriched diet.

Feeding Instructions

• Feed fresh food daily to ensure your birds receive the best nutrition. Avoid "topping off" to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Birds may eat all they want, but use the following guidelines as a reference:
• Canary/Finch: 1 tsp (1-1 3/4g)
• Budgie: 1-2 tsp (1 1/2g-3g)
• Cockatiel/Lovebird: 1 1/2 - 3 tsp (2-5g)
• Dove/Pigeon: 1/2 - 1 1/2 tsp (5-15g)

Storage Information

To maintain the freshness and nutritional quality of Harrison’s Adult Lifetime Coarse, proper storage is essential. Follow these guidelines:

• Use the food within 4-6 weeks after opening.
• Squeeze all air out of the bag and zip it shut at the top to keep the food fresh.
• If the zip lock is removed or damaged, fold the top over several times and secure it with a "chip clip" or clothespin.
• Keep the food in its original bag and do not store it in plastic bags or Tupperware®.
• Store at room temperature; refrigeration is not necessary.
