This Psittacus Omega Parrot Food has been specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of young Parrots up to 1 year old, and Parrots with nutritional deficiencies.

This extruded diet is highly palatable, both for its taste and texture. Plus, special attention has been given to the levels of Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids that support your Parrot’s good health.

Created using high quality ingredients, you’ll find no GMO ingredients, no artificial colours, preservatives or antioxidants.

Directions for use

  • Whilst designed to be fed as 100% of your Parrot’s daily diet, it is recommended to feed around 60-70% Psittacus and offer vegetables, sprouting seeds, nuts, and fruits for other 30-40% to provide enriching variety.

    *Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if it is hermetically sealed).

Daily intake

  • Daily intake varies between 5 and 10 % of the animal’s body weight. Environmental conditions, especially temperature, influence consumption very significantly. Medium-sized species, such as the African Grey Parrot, feed between 25 and 45 g per day.
    Please Note: Simultaneous use with water for drinking in which choline chloride has been added should be avoided. For Parrots that are prone to weight gain, such as Amazons and Eclectus, it is recommended to feed smaller portions and less often, using to complement their diet and provide a nutritional boost.

  • Next Working Day (Mon - Fri) - Parcel are delivered with 24 hours. However, due to increased demand some courier services may take slightly longer than usual.
  • Express Delivery Service (Mon - Fri) - Parcels are delivered within 2 - 3 Business days, after dispatch.
  • Standard Delivery (Mon - Sat) - Parcels are delivered within 3 - 5 days, after dispatch.


  • Orders for NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery must be placed before 3pm. This is not a guaranteed service, however 99% of the parcels are delivered on time.
  • Standard Delivery can take up to 10 working days at present due to high volume of parcels. If your delivery is urgent choose the Next Working Day, Delivery Service.


Place your order online before 3pm Monday to Friday. Choose the Free Next Day delivery option and we will deliver your parcel by Parcel Force the next working day (Mon – Fri only)

The next day delivery for orders under £69 costs just £6.99. It is available for in stock orders and to most UK mainland addresses (excluding some large items).


Our Standard Delivery service usually takes 3 - 5 working days and your parcel will be delivery by Royal Mail or Parcel Force


Large cages and some stands are available for delivery to UK Mainland only and may take and extra few days or be subject to surcharge in some areas.
