As a general guide, a large parakeet or cockatoo requires approximately 15-40g of food per day, or around 20g per kilogram of body weight per day. The exact amount should be adjusted according to your bird's species, size, activity level, life stage and health status. Monitor what your parrot actually consumes rather than simply topping up the bowl, and make sure all components of the PUUR Cockatiel & Cockatoo Parrot Food Seed Mix are being eaten to encourage a more balanced intake.

Store the food in a cool, dark and dry place to help maintain freshness and quality. Keep the pack securely closed between feeds and always check that food bowls remain clean and free from spoiled or damp food. Fresh, clean drinking water should be available at all times and replaced regularly, particularly if your bird enjoys dipping food into its water bowl.
