Sanded Nail Trimming Roll or Swing Parrot Perch - Medium

Trim Nails Naturally While Adding More Fun To Every Step

Turn everyday perching into a simple way to support healthy feet and nails with the Sanded Nail Trimming Roll or Swing Parrot Perch - Medium. Designed with a textured sanded surface and suspended from metal chains, this versatile parrot perch encourages climbing, balancing and movement while helping to gently wear down sharp nail tips as your bird walks and plays. Hang it across the cage as an entertaining swing or position it as an interesting alternative perch to add variety to your bird's environment.

• Helps Maintain Nails: The rough sanded surface naturally helps wear down sharp nail tips as your parrot walks across the perch, providing ongoing nail maintenance between regular nail checks.
• Exercises Feet And Legs: The rounded, textured surface encourages your bird to grip, balance and adjust their footing, helping to keep feet and leg muscles active during everyday use.
• Perch Or Swing: Suspend the perch using the chains to create a gently moving parrot swing, or position it across the cage as an engaging suspended perch for climbing and resting.
• Easy Cage Attachment: Quick links at the ends of the metal chains make it straightforward to secure the perch to suitable cage bars and reposition it whenever you refresh your bird's cage layout.

Parrots spend a significant amount of time using their feet, so providing a variety of perch surfaces and textures is an important part of creating an engaging cage environment. This medium sanded parrot perch offers a different experience from standard smooth wooden perches. As your bird steps across the textured surface, they must continually make small adjustments to their grip and balance, adding gentle physical activity to normal climbing, playing and perching behaviours.

The Sanded Nail Trimming Roll or Swing Parrot Perch can also become part of your bird's enrichment routine. Position favourite toys or suitable treats nearby to encourage your parrot to climb onto the perch, move along its length and explore. When suspended as a swing, the natural movement adds an extra balancing challenge and gives curious birds a new skill to practise. Changing its position occasionally can help keep the cage layout interesting while encouraging your parrot to interact with different areas of their home.

Measuring approximately 24.5cm wide with a 2.5cm perch diameter, this medium parrot nail trimming perch provides a practical gripping surface while remaining compact enough to incorporate into many cage layouts. The suspended design encourages movement through the feet, legs and body as your bird balances on the perch. For the best cage set-up, use this sanded perch alongside other appropriately sized natural wood perches with different diameters and textures, giving your bird plenty of choice for resting, climbing and exercising their feet.

The combination of wood, sand, metal and acrylic creates a functional bird perch designed for everyday enrichment. Secure the quick links firmly to suitable cage bars and check the perch regularly for signs of excessive wear or damage. As with any textured nail trimming perch for parrots, it should form part of a varied perch selection rather than being the only perch available. Position it where your bird can comfortably access it without placing it directly above food or water bowls.

Add the Sanded Nail Trimming Roll or Swing Parrot Perch - Medium to your bird's cage for a clever combination of enrichment, exercise and everyday nail maintenance. Whether your parrot chooses to walk across it, practise balancing or enjoy the movement of a suspended swing, this textured parrot perch helps make ordinary cage time more active and interesting while supporting healthy foot and nail care.
