Feeding Instructions

For the best results, Harrison’s Adult Lifetime Coarse should be fed as part of a consistent daily diet. The recommended feeding amounts for different parrot species are:

• Amazons, Eclectus: 1.5-3 tbsp (15-30g) per day
• Pionus: 1-1.5 tbsp (10-15g) per day
• Cockatoos: 1.5-5 tbsp (15-30g) per day
• Macaws: 2-6 tbsp (20-60g) per day

If you are transitioning your parrot from a seed-based diet, it is advised to first complete a dietary programme of Harrison’s High Potency formula for a period of 6 months. This ensures your bird is adequately prepared to switch to a pellet-based diet seamlessly.

Storage Information

To maintain the freshness and nutritional quality of Harrison’s Adult Lifetime Coarse, proper storage is essential. Follow these guidelines:

• Use the food within 4-6 weeks after opening.
• Squeeze all air out of the bag and zip it shut at the top to keep the food fresh.
• If the zip lock is removed or damaged, fold the top over several times and secure it with a "chip clip" or clothes pin.
• Keep the food in its original bag and do not store it in plastic bags or Tupperware®.
• Store at room temperature; refrigeration is not necessary.
